Rajasthan Schedule of Rates
About PWD Rajasthan / WRD / RUIDP / RDPR
Rajasthan's BSR ecosystem is built around the IFMS (Integrated Financial Management System) which serves rates by district + discipline + year as a live database query — this is unique in India and reduces version-mismatch errors in tenders. Engineers in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer access district-specific rates by querying the IFMS portal. RUIDP (Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development) and RDPR (Rural Dev) maintain parallel BSRs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get current BSR rates for my district?
Use the IFMS portal at bsr.rajasthan.gov.in. Filter by district + discipline + year. The portal serves rates as a live database — this is the most current reference. The PDF preface explains the BSR methodology.
Why does Rajasthan have so many separate BSRs?
Rajasthan's strong departmental autonomy and large geographic spread (deserts, hills, agrarian) led to per-discipline + per-district rate frameworks. PWD Buildings, Roads, Electrical, WRD, RUIDP (urban) and RDPR (rural) each maintain separate BSRs.
What is RUIDP?
Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project — an ADB/JICA-funded urban infrastructure agency. RUIDP works (water-supply augmentation, sewerage, urban roads in 28+ cities) reference RUIDP BSR specifically.
What is RDPR?
Rural Development & Panchayati Raj — handles rural roads (PMGSY-state share), village water supply, panchayat building works. RDPR maintains its own rural BSR which differs from urban PWD rates.
Is the BSR Preface PDF the actual rate book?
No. The preface explains the BSR's methodology, application rules, lead/lift formulas, and item nomenclature. The actual rates are in the IFMS portal (live database) plus per-district per-discipline annexures.
