What are A&C slips?
Additions & Corrections — quarterly amendment notifications updating specific CSR items. The 12 issued slips through 2025 cover material rate revisions, new items (modern materials), and clarifications.
Is Punjab CSR composite across departments?
Yes, unusually so. Civil, Electrical, Water-Supply and Public Health items are all in a single PDF. Most other states issue separate volumes per discipline. This makes the Punjab CSR the most comprehensive single-PDF state SOR.
Where do I find amendment slips?
PRBDB hosts the full amendment slip series at prbdb.punjab.gov.in/csr.html. The PWD Punjab portal links to the 2020 base only — for current rates, you need the base + all 12 slips.
Does Chandigarh use the Punjab CSR?
Chandigarh is a UT and uses CPWD DSR as its primary reference (because CPWD is centrally administered). Punjab CSR is for state-funded works in Punjab only.
Are there separate CSRs for Punjab Mandi Board / Markfed?
Punjab Mandi Board and PSPCL (Power) maintain their own departmental rate references for specialised works. The CSR covers general civil/electrical/water items used across departments.
