  • Before the first lift of the day for any mobile or tower crane.
  • Daily, filled out by the crane operator and verified by the site supervisor or safety officer.
  • A copy is kept in the crane cabin and another is filed with the site safety records.

  • Fulfills requirements under the BOCW Act, 1996 and Central Rules, 1998 (Rule 55, 61) regarding daily examination of lifting appliances.
  • Serves as evidence of due diligence during safety audits or accident investigations, as required by law.
  • Supports compliance with IS 14735 (Code of practice for selection, installation, operation and maintenance of cranes and hoists).
