IS 2074:1992 is the Indian Standard (BIS) for ready mixed paint, brushing, bituminous, black, lead free. IS 2074 covers ready-mixed black bituminous paint used as a protective coating. It provides moisture barrier and mild corrosion protection for buried pipes, tank exteriors, structural steel in damp conditions, and masonry surfaces. Lead-free formulation.
