This report is used to formally document and analyze any event that has caused or is expected to cause a delay to the project schedule. It helps in claiming Extension of Time (EOT) and understanding the impact on project milestones.

📍 When to use this template
  • When a significant delay event occurs, such as late drawing release, material shortage, force majeure, or site access denial.
  • Prepared as soon as the delay is identified and submitted as a formal notice, then updated periodically until the delay is resolved.
  • Typically prepared by the Contractor's Planning Engineer and reviewed/approved by the PMC/Engineer-in-Charge.
