This is a checklist to make sure your site office is set up properly from day one. It covers everything from getting the land and building the office to setting up utilities, IT, and safety facilities.

📍 When to use this template
  • At the very beginning of a project, right after the Letter of Award (LOA) is received and mobilization starts.
  • Used once at the start of the project and should be completed before main construction activities begin.
  • The Contractor's Project Manager or Admin Manager fills it, and the PMC/Client's Engineer reviews and approves it.

⚖ Compliance notes
  • Helps ensure compliance with the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, 1996, regarding workplace facilities (canteens, restrooms, first-aid).
  • Fulfills contractual obligations under FIDIC (Sub-Clause 6.6) or CPWD contracts for the contractor to establish and maintain adequate site facilities.
  • Provides documented evidence for initial project audits that mobilization requirements for site infrastructure have been met.
  • Ensures basic welfare amenities as per the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 are in place before deploying labour.
