IS 1364:2018 Part 3 is the Indian Standard (BIS) for hexagon nuts, style 1 (sizes m1.6 to m64) of product grade a and b. This standard specifies the characteristics, dimensions, and tolerances of hexagon nuts, style 1, with metric coarse and fine pitch threads from M1.6 to M64, in product grades A and B. It is technically identical to ISO 4032.
Specifies characteristics for hexagon nuts, style 1, with threads from M1.6 up to M64 and product grade A and B.

Practical Notes
! Style 1 nuts are the standard regular height nuts. Do not confuse with Style 2 (high nuts) or Style 0 (thin nuts).
! Product Grade A has tighter tolerances and is limited to sizes up to M16. Above M16, Grade B tolerances apply.
! For technical delivery conditions including mechanical properties and testing, always refer to the IS 1367 series.
