1:8 is the steepest slope on which a typical LMV can climb without scraping the underbelly or stalling. Anything steeper damages low-clearance vehicles like sedans and sports cars.
Most parking ramps in India use 1:10 to 1:12 for comfortable car access. Below 1:8 always — many older buildings illegally use 1:6 and damage cars.
