Why this matters

2.0 m ensures any adult can pass without ducking. Below this, even average-height users hit the frame, which is annoying and degrades the perceived quality of the building.

Typical practice

Most Indian doors are 2.0–2.1 m. Premium projects use 2.4–2.7 m doors for a sense of height and grandness.
